If I ask you a simple question: “Do you take care of yourself?” Most of you will laugh at me asking this silly question and will say “yes, of course, I do.”

Ok, let me try a different one. “How do you take care of yourself?” — well, that’s where the tricky part begins.

Self-care is a simple concept but very often overlooked. Self-care involves the activities we do in order to take care of our mental, physical and emotional health. For me, it is a process to enjoy your true self.

Long story short, the purpose of writing this journal prompts for August is to focus on your true self. Let’s begin and enjoy your own company.

18. List the memories that make you feel loved.

 

19. Describe your perfect day in detail as much as you can.

 

20. What important lessons you have learned in your life?

 

21. What areas do you dislike about yourself and why?

 

22. Acknowledge your strengths and write down any 5.

 

23. Identify the ways to become your best self.

 

24. Write down any 10 positive affirmations for yourself.
