Sustaining your mental health is essential to leading a happy and healthy life. Unfortunately, millions of people experience mental illnesses that leave them feeling hopeless, isolated, and powerless. Many turn to drugs and alcohol to cope with their mental problems and numb this misery.

Here, I’ll go over a few points related to coping with mental health issues:

1) Choose a suitable time and place for this meditation. To begin, take a seat in a chair or try leaning against a wall. Your entire body should be relaxed. Don’t wear tight outfits. After that, close your eyes and begin inhaling deeply. Breathe in for a minimum of six seconds, and then release the breath gradually. Concentrate on one thought in particular.

Continue breathing normally. Your entire body will gradually start to feel more relaxed. You should do this without paying attention to everything that comes to mind, no matter what. Remind yourself constantly that, “Thinking does not mean doing.”

 

2) Start writing a diary. It is a beneficial technique for mental wellness. Create a schedule, list your activities, and record the events of the day.

4) Prioritise your passions and hobbies. Whatever you choose to do, don’t give up and keep moving forward.

 

5) Engage in physical activities such as yoga, pranayama, and other exercises.

 

6) Talk more. Engage in conversation with others daily. Examine your surroundings. Learn about the people and events surrounding you.

 

7) To boost your confidence, take a position facing a mirror, look yourself in the eye, and tell yourself over and over, “I can do, I will do.” Practice this daily.

 

8) Never try to win by force if you know that you are wrong.

 

9) Refrain from giving up all of life’s joys because of what others may say or think.

 

10) Try to avoid negative people.

 

11) Never let other people’s success bring you down. Avoid becoming jealous. Take pleasure in other people’s happiness. Remember that the moment for you will also arrive.

 

12) Express yourself to someone you trust or someone who would understand you. Never wrap yourself up.

 

13) Never take any decision when you are angry. If you’re feeling hopeless or stuck and unsure of how to go, talk to someone about it and share all of your concerns.

 

14) Don’t expect anything from others.

 

15) Be self-sufficient rather than dependent on others.

 

16) Be content with what you have. Never compare.

  • be calm
  • don’t rush in that situation
  • focus on your target
  • never let anything or anyone divert yourself
  • go ahead with courage
  • never look back
  • Do more of the things you are afraid to do; don’t back down in fear. You won’t be able to overcome fear until you address it.

 

18) Sometimes silence is better than nonsense.

 

19) Don’t believe in luck, always believe in yourself.

 

20) Always keep a smile on your face. You may also keep a photo of a smiling person with you and view it whenever you want.

 

21) Be positive. Think positive. Speak positive.

 

22) Get enough sleep daily.

 

23) You are like yourself; you don’t have to be like anybody else.

 

24) Don’t let your emotions affect your performance. Remember, no one pays for tears in this world.

 

25) Never think that you are a loser or underestimate your abilities.

 

26) “Listen with one ear and let out with the other ear”.

 

27) Don’t let your thoughts control you.

 

28) Don’t stay idle; rather, try to engage yourself in some task. This may be any kind of task that will give you joy and keep you busy. You can try some brain games like puzzles, cognitive, intelligence, detective cases, math, memory, attention, concentration, etc.

 

29) When you are having a conversation, listen to the other person before responding. Take your time in between.

 

30) Delete “Ego” from your mind to maintain any kind of healthy relationship.

 

31) Never stop motivating and encouraging yourself.

 

32) Try to be in the real world rather than the virtual world.
